Originally formed by Glenn Miller in 1938 during the Swing era of the 1930s and 1940s, they have enjoyed a matchless string of hits including their signature “Moonlight Serenade,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “A String Of Pearls,” “Tuxedo Junction” and of course “In The Mood.” The present Glenn Miller Orchestra was formed in 1956 with Erik Stabnau as the orchestra’s current musical director.
