The Giving Circle: Celebration for The Ruah Centre for Women and Children

Between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, we, the Giving Circle, will be hosting a fundraising event at the exclusive Lawson Flats.

Why Lawson Flats? Apart from it being an incredibly cool “art deco oasis”, Lawson Flats is, in their own words, at heart a meeting place for people and ideas. A place conceived in an aspirational spirit in 1937, the Lawson flats building has been throughout its life a beacon for emerging ideas and coming together.

Hosting a curated - and spontaneous - mix of happenings, we welcome the progression of

community, culture, and contemporary thought.

It is this kind of ideology our community needs to adopt if we are to end family and domestic violence. We, at the Giving Circle, feel it is the right place for us to come together to celebrate the progression that Ruah have made with the opening of the Ruah Centre for Women and Children.

If you are interested in learning more about Ruah, the new centre and, helping us fundraise, we would love for you to attend this event. It will be a fun, interactive evening with DJs, amazing drinks, food and fundraising games but, most importantly, we will “walk” you through the new building and Ruah’s CEO Debra Zanella and Executive Manager - Services Elsie Blay will talk you through the services provided in this world leading centre.
