WHAT TO EXPECT

Our German Christmas Winter Market or ‘Wintermarkt’’ is a magical place that will come to life by the pristine lake in Gilford Innisfil a few weeks before Christmas. Our market is designed to recreate the atmosphere of European Christmas markets in small towns and offers a unique and unforgettable experience.

Why this is a MUST attend event: 

- A welcoming small town experience with the sophistication of a larger urban event

- The only place to see a Viking battle scene while shopping for stocking stuffers (3PM)

- Sip savour & stock up on unique holiday gifts from 50 curated vendors in Simcoe County

- European infused cuisine seasonal coffee and cocktails

- A delightful welcome and marketing closing Story with Santa experience for all ages (5-6PM)

- On-site wine and bottle shop

- Musical performances + entertainment 

- Photo vignette's scattered throughout

WINTER WONDERLAND

As soon as you enter visitors will be greeted by an outdoor wonderland with live music and vendors selling exquisite holiday gifts ornaments and all things winter surrounded by pop-up performances dazzling lights and more to come! The Gilford Local Eatery front patio will be serving craft beer mulled wine and festive favourites alongside curated vendors. The Jean & Joy on-site cafe will be offering seasonal coffee & savory baking. 

THE TAVERN

Visitors will be delighted upon entering our Tavern portrait drawing will be available as well as curated vendors + a stylish seating area decked out for photos.

THE SPEAKEASY

Outside on the Gilford Local Eatery back patio market visitors will be transported to our speakeasy where they can shop a curated selection of mini vendor stalls for stocking stuffers and pick up a hand painted artisan Gluhwein keepsake mug. Visitors will be welcomed into a heated covered indoor space for an intimate mix & mingle with signature cocktails

ART EXHIBIT

Local artist Maria Kelebeev of @hannatess_arthaus will be revealing a mural collection and stunning coffee table book with her original art from the Beach Road Market Collection recapturing the magic of our 2023 season.
