This Halloween, step beyond the ordinary and enter a building where history refuses to rest...
Led by the Time Traveller, you will be taken on an immersive journey through the Northampton & County Club, uncovering stories, characters and unexplained happenings from centuries of Northampton's past.
But be warned...
Not everything you encounter will be part of the story.
As you move through the historic building, you'll encounter the ghosts of those who may never have left — from the former infirmary, where patients and a mysterious nurse are said to linger, to the silent gentleman who waits in his chair, watching those who enter.
Then descend into the 14th-century cellars, where medieval stone vaults hold centuries of secrets... and where something else may be waiting in the darkness.
You'll hear tales connected to the Great Fire of Northampton, when people sought refuge as the city burned, and discover the dark history surrounding the last witch trials of Northampton, just yards from the building.
And somewhere beneath it all...
