Join me Saturday, January 31st at @wordsonpagesbookshop (Paw Paw, MI) from 3-7 to celebrate the release of my debut novel, THE GHOST OF AVALON!
In some ways, this release party feels like coming home.
Words on Pages Bookshop is where I started a book club. Where I painted a dragon on the windows. Where I found myself behind and in front of the counter rambling about books with fellow book lovers. Where I've made countless recommendations and many cherished friends.
Seated behind the counter was where I was when I got my first offer for The Ghost of Avalon. I walked across those floors to show my phone to a friend who was reading in one of the big green chairs. Penny came in the back door shortly after, and when I reached my phone out to her, she screamed in excitement and wrapped me in a hug. She kept laughing as I sighed loudly (and repeatedly) the rest of the day. The feelings were too big to process and my mind couldn't fully wrap itself around what this meant.
I had been working for 6 years for that email and there wasn't any other place I would have rather been when I got that news, and no other place I'd want to celebrate!
So come out Saturday, January 31st any time between 3pm and 7pm and celebrate with us!
