Info: This book by Robert Livingston examines contemporary approaches to addressing racism and their perceived effectiveness. Referencing events such as the M**der of George Floyd, Livingston discusses shifts in public and institutional responses to racial inequality. Drawing on social science research, personal experience, and interviews, he presents a framework outlining three strategies for navigating systemic racism: working within existing institutions, challenging established systems, or creating and participating in alternative spaces. Examples include individuals such as Kenneth Chenault and Colin Kaepernick. The book explores how these approaches may be used individually or in combination to address structural barriers and pursue stability and well-being.
