Poetry & Writing Events In Columbus This Week

This week's schedule:
You may have noticed a few events reserved specifically for Poet Business Institute members;
well, the first cohort of the Institute is forming soon, and so is the second cohort for the chapbook peer review Poetship:
The Poet Business Institute is a 10-week program that goes through The Semester workbook together; you leave the cohort with an actual poetry thesis (whether that is a workshop, a class, a book, a partnership with a coffeeshop--whatever you envision) that gives you both creative independence with your art and financial independence by earning income through poetry. The first two modules of the workbook are available for free as well on diversespoetry.com/institute, which is also where you can join the waitlist and find more info.
The Poetship is 4-weeks of peer review and live workshopping sessions to finish your poetry chapbook; poets also get a featured reading, an audiobook, an ebook, an interview and guidance with self-publishing. The waitlist is available at www.diversespoetry.com/poetship

-The Creative Companionship book club (Thursdays 5PM) just finished Daniel Priestley's Key Person Of Influence and will be starting a new business book to apply to art/poetry this week.
-Pour Over Poems is a poetry interview podcast series I've started and greatly enjoyed; poets read a poem and then we discuss an aspect of poetry together. If you'd be interested in talking poetry with me, reach out so we can schedule a time to chat!
Lastly, if you're looking for an intimate poetry event space, podcast studio, poem video or audio production, or a place to host a poetry workshop/reading, the Stanza would really enjoy working with you.
