The auditions for the fifth and final play of our 2025 - 26 season take place on Monday Monday 16 March 2026 in the Hedley Palin Studio from 19:45.All are welcome, whether auditioning or just observing. Membership is not required to attend the auditions but you will be required to join if cast.
THE GAP YEAR

Newly widowed Kate, childminder-in-chief Roisin and their best friend Oonagh have decided enough is enough; life is too short. They’re going to follow in their children’s footsteps and take a gap year. Thailand? Europe? Down Under? No, they’re visiting every county in Ireland in a campervan, sure there’s a few they’ve never even heard of!
It’s time for castles, coffee and craic as three women in their 60s go on the adventure of a lifetime. The Gap Year is about new beginnings, starting over, and the power of female friendship.
