Join 18th Street Arts Center for an all-ages event to celebrate the exhibition “An Earth Twin at the Digital Dawn: Tom Van Sant’s GeoSphere Project” presented by 18th Street Arts Center Otis College of Art and Design and Cypress College. This captivating exhibition celebrates Van Sant’s visionary creation of a “live Earth” model to promote planetary consciousness and combat environmental devastation. Explore interactive installations immersive visual displays and spectacular sky-related artworks that illuminate Earth’s ecosystems.

Enjoy special tours from the curator fly a giant augmented reality kite above Santa Monica make paper seagulls and kites create and mail postcards around environmental action to lawmakers learn about powerful individual and small-group actions participate in a Post-it note discussion on climate optimism and discover local environmental resources.
