The Future of York's Creative Spaces

Spaces for creatives to make, collaborate and exhibit their work in York are limited, and this needs to change.

This event draws together work and insights from local artists, researchers and key stakeholders about the future of the city's creative potential.

The launch event will be an opportunity to preview an exhibition of original artworks and research about the city's creative spaces, and to contribute your own views about what the city needs. A panel of experts will debate the opportunities to make a York a place where creatives can thrive.

The Spurriergate Centre is located in central York. It is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet.

This event is a collaboration between the University of York, Guild of Media Arts, York Creatives and University of Stirling.
