About this Event
The second annual Future of San Antonio Children: Shaping the Social Determinants of Health for San Antonio's Future Generations cohosted by CHILDREN AT RISK and Family Service will create a forum in which our community can explore what a future looks like in which children thrive. Join us on the beautiful campus of Texas A&M University - San Antonio from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. for an experience that will convene stakeholders from the San Antonio region invested in the well-being of children and families and include a data presentation on the State of San Antonio Children.
Our goal is to convene leaders that can look at what children are experiencing now, and together, create collaborative solutions that can help build a future in which San Antonio's children succeed. This convening will pay particular attention to social determinants of health San Antonio children face and will present a wide array of child related data and indicators and can be used by community partners, local leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders to inform their policy platform and decisions.
We will also feature an expert panel discussion on key topics related to child well-being in their area of work to facilitate shared learnings and recommendations on ways to improve the lives of San Antonio children. A Q&A session will provide opportunities for additional dialogue and feedback collection. Attendees will walk away from what will be an amazing event, armed with data to drive positive change for children!
