Hear from state leaders and disability rights advocates on how changes to federal and state funding priorities are impacting individuals with disabilities on the Eastern Shore, and what the future holds for disability rights. Keynote speaker Dr. Erikk Bonner (Maryland State Department of Education, Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) Director) will provide a brief overview of top concerns and priorities, followed by a panel discussion of leaders and community advocates. Audience Q&A will be encouraged. Offered by the Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement in partnership with Salisbury University’s REACH Initiative, co-sponsored by the City of Salisbury's Disability Advisory Committee, with administrative support from the Department of Psychology.
