The Future of Construction, SEGRO Logistics Park, Northampton

SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton is a large-scale modern logistics park located adjacent to J15 of the M1 with a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) that has been designated as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) and has a Development Consent Order (DCO) permitting the development of up to 5 million sq ft of logistics and warehouse buildings. With direct rail access to the West Coast Mainline (Northampton spur), which will enable the distribution of goods nationwide, the site will provide employment space for over 7000 jobs.

The visit will provide an insight into the construction of Plot 4, a 1.2 million sq ft industrial facility for Yusen Logistics, sitting in the UK’s logistics ‘golden triangle’.

PPE required: Hi-vis vest, steel toe capped boots & hard hat (boots can be provided if sizes are requested in advance).
