The Furlympics: Staff vs. Volunteers is coming in hot as part of our 2026 Giving Challenge, and it’s not your average field day. This is a full-on, fur-fueled festival where friendly rivalry meets a great cause.
Our staff and beloved volunteers will go head-to-head in a series of playful, high-energy challenges, all to support the animals in our care. Expect everything from Donation Dash Days and Shelter Olympics to Dollar Wars, Social Media Showdowns, and a Community Kindness Challenge that proves big hearts can be just as competitive as fast feet.
Feeling brave? Take your shot at the dunk tank and send your favorite participant splashing down. Prefer to cheer from the sidelines? There’s plenty of fun to go around, plus reduced adoption fees to help more pets find their forever homes.
Every dollar you give can be dedicated to Team Staff or Team Volunteers, helping tip the scales in this spirited battle. Winning teams earn bragging rights, rewards, and the power to dish out some delightfully wacky punishments to their rivals.
It’s sunshine, silliness, and second chances all rolled into one unforgettable day. Come for the games, stay for the impact, and leave knowing you helped change an animal’s life.
