The Friends of Rowntree Park Public Meeting -Thursday 16th AprilOur next public meeting is on Thursday 16th April, 7-8.30pm at the York Explore café in the park, and everyone is very welcome.
These meetings are a great chance to get a clearer picture of what the Friends of Rowntree Park are working on, what we’ve got planned for the months ahead, and the key issues we’re raising with the council. It’s also an opportunity to share your own thoughts, ideas and experiences of the park.
We’ll be joined by our council link, Dave Meigh, who will give an update on council priorities and be on hand to answer any questions or concerns.
The meetings are friendly and relaxed, and usually only a small group attend, so it’s an easy, informal way to come along and get involved. We’d really love to see some new faces.
If you’ve ever wondered how to get more involved, this is a great place to start. Whether you’re curious, passionate about the park, or just want to listen in, you’ll be very welcome.
