The Free Black Women's Library presents First Aid 4 The People with ARC NYC
About this Event
The Free Black Women's Library is a literary hub, reading room, Black Feminist archive, and community care space that features a free store, period pantry, backyard garden, reading club, weekly book swap, and a wide array of free public programs, as well as a collection of over 5000 books written by Black women and Black nonbinary authors.
This social art project was created by artist and cultural worker OlaRonke Akinmowo in 2015, and is funded by merchandise sales and direct donations.

All are welcome to join us on Sunday, July 12 at 1PM for a workshop in community care
led by the Action Readiness Collective of NYC, a group of EMT and nurse practioners invested in community education and public safety.
This workshop involves training instruction on CPR, First Aid, bleeding controls, harm reduction, overdose prevention, muscular and skeletal injuries and more.
Please come on time, preapred to learn and take notes.
