The Foundation Series | Hubb's Groove

Hubb’s Groove returns to The East Green with an unforgettable blend of Soul, Jazz, R&B, and Gospel-inspired sound, delivered with the energy and musicianship that have made the group a Northeast Ohio favorite for more than three decades. Led by acclaimed drummer Robert Hubbard, the band creates a live experience that is both smooth and high-energy, combining heartfelt performances with electrifying stage presence.
Founded in Cleveland thirty years ago, Hubb’s Groove has built a lasting legacy through its passion, precision, and connection with audiences. The group has shared the stage with legendary artists including Earth, Wind & Fire, Kirk Whalum, Jonathan Butler, and Wayman Tisdale, while earning numerous honors including Cleveland’s Best Band award and multiple Cleveland Music Awards for Best Jazz Band.
Known for their world-class musicianship and dynamic performances, Hubb’s Groove continues to captivate audiences with a sound that celebrates the timeless spirit of live music.

The Foundation Series, presented by the East Green Foundation, brings a curated lineup of live music to The East Green, celebrating the rich sounds of jazz, blues, and soul. Featuring four thoughtfully selected performances, this series highlights both exceptional talent and timeless genres that set the tone for memorable summer evenings. Join us for an elevated concert experience that blends artistry, atmosphere, and the unique spirit of The East Green.
All Foundation Series Concerts will begin at 8pm and take place at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater at the East Green in downtown Tiffin. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, grab a DORA or bite to eat before, and enjoy the show!
