We are just 7 miles south of Joplin, MO that is right off I-44 which is a major interstate in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. Neosho is smaller and quaint. Has a nice square that has several locally owned restaurants and AIRBNBs. It is in a growth stage. Watch the discussion page, I will post about those on there. There are a couple of hotels there also. Again, watch the discussion page.
Joplin is larger and is an easy 7 miles from here. Has more hotels and restaurants. We are within 20 minutes of two different Casino's. Indio Sky Casino and Downstream Casino. So those are good options for hotels, food and fun. Joplin is not short on hotel rooms, so it should easy to find a room. I will be sharing some AIRBNB links on the discussion page.
If flying in, there are several options. XNA/Northwest Arkansas Regional is 45 minutes, mostly highway. Joplin has a small airport just a short drive from there, Springfield, MO is approximately an1 hour away. And as some of you will know after April, Tulsa, Oklahoma is 1-1/2 hours away!
