The Force are the North East's finest rock band .They are a 4 piece piece with twin lead guitarists Phil Thorell and Dave Shaw, bass player Mick Hunter and Geordie Clark on drums.
Although Mick is taking care of the majority of the vocals, all of the band contribute, as and when required, each bringing their own unique style
Musically The Force are an awesome powerhouse of intense guitar-fuelled rock. Both guitarists are highly rated professional teachers as well as seasoned live and studio players. Their contrasting and aggressive styles mate perfectly. .
The Force, with their exceptional brand of original material, are welcomed back time and again by fans all over the country. Their music and stage presence is hugely addictive and has led to them being invited to support some world-class bands, including :- Status Quo, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Steve Vai, Skin, Saxon, Magnum, The Little Angels, Nazareth, FM, Nils Lofgren, and Izzy Stradlin
