Hello readers! Join us as we discuss Milk and Honey, a collection poetry and prose by Rupi Kaur
This is a book about the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. Milk and honey takes readers through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look.
We'll be bringing snacks, and we will also be accepting gently used copies of books to share amongst the community for those that are interested, but readers aren't required to bring anything but their minds and their voices.
Although The Forbidden Book Club is open to readers of all ages and skill levels, this book does contain subject matter that could be potentially triggering to some.
