Hello readers! Join us as we discuss our next challenged book. December's meeting is about 19 Minutes, the emotionally charged novel by Jodi Picoult.The harrowing, poignant novel tells the story of a school shooting and its aftermath as the people affected try to make sense of the tragedy.
We'll be bringing snacks, and we will also be accepting gently used copies of books to share amongst the community for those that are interested, but readers aren't required to bring anything but their minds and their voices.
Although The Forbidden Book Club is open to readers of all ages and skill levels, this book is recommended for 10th grade to adult level readers, and does contain subject matter that could be potentially triggering to some.
