The Fondue Experience

Fondue Savoyarde Tasting event !
After the great success of the last French Pastry by Sandrine's Tasting events (#1 - French Cheeses and Wines Tasting / #2 - Raclette Savoyarde Experience), l am thrilled to offer the 3rd (and last of the winter !) of these signature events : a fondue Tasting !
What is fondue ?... it's a dish from the Alp Mountains, both on the France and Swiss sides. Made with an assortment of 3 specific sorts of cheese, which is melted in a cast iron pot heating over a burner. Each guest dips some bread in the melting cheese and enjoys with potatoes and charcuterie.
For this event happening at Cedar Ridge Winery and Distillerie, in Swisher, the 3 authentic cheeses will be imported from Savoie - France, and from Switzerland. The dish will be served with La Crescent white wine locally made at the Winery.
This is a traditional winter comfort food dish, traditionally enjoyed after a day of ski or hike in the Alps !
