The Suffolk market town of Bungay is blessed with many things and not just the big black dog we all love and know as "Shuck". We also have the amazing Fisher Theatre with a long history going back to February 1828. This wonderful art resource serves the town and it's surrounding area in the Waveney Valley and to my knowledge gets not a penny of tax payer support - which has meant it has stayed relevant to the local population and not disappeared into an elitist cul-de-sac. It relies instead on volunteers, donations and good popular productions including a thriving Youth Theatre. I'm pleased to have been asked to put a couple of my works into the Fisher Theatre Art Auction taking place on Sunday 16th March and I hope they raise some cash for this worthwhile arts provider.
