The Tumult Championships draw to a close...The Championships will see competitive Altered players go head to head, to race to the finish line and declare victory for their faction.
Players are required to have a legal deck - containing 1 Hero and at least 39 other cards. All cards included must match the chosen heroes faction and only 3 cards of the same name may be present in the deck. Decks must not exceed 15 rare cards and 3 unique cards.
Cards from Roots of Corruption are legal for this event.
Printed proxies of cards you own are permitted at this event, but they should be indistinguishable from regular cards when sleeved by both sight and feel.
Decklists are not required for this event. However, on sign in all players should share their played Hero & which Faction they represent on Altered.gg.
Structure:
Rounds will be 30 minutes long, best of one and results should be reported to the TO running the event.
Number of rounds will depend on the total number of players.
- Up to 8 players - 4 swiss rounds, followed by a top 4 cut
- 9-16 players - 5 rounds, followed by a top 8 cut
Refund Policy -
Refunds can be issued with up to 7 days notice before the event begins. If less than 7 days notice of cancellation is given it may be subject to the resale of your ticket.
Prizing -
All players will receive 3 standard booster packs and up to 5 various promo packs/cards (depending on number of players) for participation, and 2 packs will be entered into the prize pool to be split between the top players before the cut.
1st place overall will receive an exclusive Tumult Champion playmat, a sealed Beyond the Gates kickstarter edition booster box.
The top 4 will receive a foil "The Reunion" rare card.
The top 8 will receive a foil "The Reunion" common card.
There will be 1 foil Booda token given to last place.
There will be a bonus rare foil card given out to the highest placing player for each faction!
There will be several Seeds of Unity Collector boosters given away at random throughout the event.
