The Fifth International conference on creativity and innovation for/from grassroots [ICCIG 5]

The ICCIG aims to bring together a diverse group of individuals and organizations to share and discuss cutting-edge ideas and innovations related to grassroots development. This year we will focus on themes such as:

1. Inclusive Innovations in Technology particularly from farmers and grassroots communities social entrepreneurship and frugal innovations.

2. Educational Innovations blending formal and informal knowledge systems in schools and colleges.

3. Institutions both formal and informal related to common property resource management in both urban and rural areas.

4. Cultural Creativity including crafts traditional knowledge and the blend of traditional and modern approaches.

5. Natural Resource Management with a focus on food nutrition biodiversity and social diffusion.

6. Public Policy for Inclusive Innovations particularly climate adaptation and open-source innovation.

7. Mind to Market addressing supply chains funding and startup ecosystems.

8. Frugal Innovations by and for Women.

Some of the selected papers will be published as a part of our series with Springer-Nature on inclusive & frugal innovations edited by Dr RA Mashelkar & Prof. Anil Gupta.

A special issue of Science Technology and Society will be taken out to publish certain outstanding papers presented at the Fifth ICCIG.
