Long before becoming a vast and wealthy cardinal world of the 41st millennium, Ophelia VII was something of a nowhere planet. Visited briefly by the Great Crusade and the Emperor himself, it was settled and promptly resigned to self-sufficiency.
However, like many worlds in the nascent Imperium, the shadow of the Heresy would fall eventually, throwing the world into a gritty dug-in conflict that saw both sides mired in stalemate for months.
