You may have heard of James because of his association with Mercury Prize-nominated Roller Trio. He's a brilliant, fiery saxophonist with a playful edge, a perfect foil for double bassist Dave Kane who imbues each performance with cathartic, heartfelt energy. Young Norwegian drummer Emil Karlsen completes the trio bringing versatile, intricate textures and groove.
The trio draw their musical influences from the worlds of free jazz, grunge, death metal, hip hop, bebop, & experimental music. Can't wait!
