The Exchange Project - Pant Hemming Class
About this Event
We are looking to extend the lifespan of your pants before you get rid of them. A landfill diversion initiative. In this class, you will leave with the knowledge of how to operate a sewing machine and how to properly rehem your pants to fit. Please bring your own pants or shorts that need hemming, or we can provide them for you.
The class is intentionally small, giving everyone plenty of individual instruction and time to ask questions. Expect a fun, creative evening with others who share an interest in sustainability, fashion, and making something by hand!
A few things to know before you arrive:
• Please arrive about 5–10 minutes early so we can get everyone settled before we begin.
• Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes if possible.
• Feel free to bring a water bottle or your favorite tasty beverage• There is street parking in front of the store. Parking is free after 7 pm.
If you need to cancel, please let us know by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the class. Tickets can be refunded minus the processing fees.
