Virtual reality (VR), as we know it today, is an emerging technology with a promising future. Modern VR headsets access our senses like no other technology, enabling experiences like: 360º and 3D video; collaborative learning; immersive gaming; and spatial productivity. Discover the state-of-the-art VR technologies available today and learn how future advancements will bring streamlined devices and ultimate immersion. Finally, learn about Kopernik’s VR Classroom and how our students are creating their own VR worlds. Our VR classroom will be open for in-headset demos from 7:00 - 8:00 PM. Spots are limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
We are excited to offer this program both online and in-person. For those that can visit us on-site, doors open at 7:00pm and the program begins at 8:00pm. If the skies are clear, our domes will be open for you to view the night skies through Kopernik’s telescopes both before and after the program.
