About this Event
The EQ Edge is a 4-hour, hands-on training that helps professionals understand what emotional intelligence really is, why it’s the single most important skill for leadership and relationship success, and how to strengthen it through specific, learnable habits. Through energizing activities and candid dialogue, you’ll describe and assess the four core EQ competencies, map your EQ strengths and blindspots, and apply practical tools to translate awareness into behavior that builds trust and impact. You’ll leave the session with your own EQ Edge Plan to sustain your growth after the session ends.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe and assess the four EQ competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management
- Map your EQ strengths and blind spots across self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management.
- Practice tools to manage stress, build empathy, and strengthen difficult conversations
- Build Your EQ Edge Plan: Commit to one habit and accountability check-in to sustain your growth
