As part of our First Saturday in the First State Series and the City of Dover's Black History Month celebrations, we wanted to feature the stories of those who have been forgotten to history. We will have on display our database of all the information recovered so far on the enslaved who lived and worked on The Green in the background while their owners reaped the benefits of their free and forced labor. Silhouettes and biographies of some of these hidden lives will also be on display along with a small area for contemplation and meditation. Free!
