The 60th anniversary re-release of surfing's definitive iconic masterpiece THE ENDLESS SUMMER, remastered in 4K with 5.1 surround sound for the first time ever.
Described as "A Perfect Movie!" by The New Yorker; credited with inspiring three generations of audiences to take to the waves, and described by Kelly Slater as "the greatest surf film ever made," THE ENDLESS SUMMER (1964) follows two surfers, Mike Hynson and Robert August, on a trip around the world to find the best waves and live an endless summer.
With the surf music of The Sandals in background and Bruce Brown’s personal and humorous tone, Mike and Rob leave their California home to visit Hawaii, Australia, South Africa and other secluded surfing spots in a search for the surfer's holy grail that Brown dubs "The Perfect Wave."
