The Empress Speaks Truth to Power International Women's Day Event

Join us in person to celebrate International Women's Day with a powerful gathering of Black women and parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Toronto. It's a chance to connect, share stories, and stand up for what matters! Don't miss out on this inspiring, life-changing event where our voices can finally be heard and change begins.

Made possible by the Ontario Trillium Foundation & Stolen From Africa, The Empress Walk Initative will be hosting a powerful speakers' event for International Women's Day on March 7, showcasing members of our collective, on stage, speaking their truth. The event is designed to provide a platform for Black women to share their autism parenting journies in addition to networing with black organizations who will be on site to help the community with autism services, advocacy and social programs that are culturally relevant to the constituency that they serve.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Marilyn Morris, internationally-reknown psychologist and seasoned educator, who will share insights on how tounluck your child's potential. The event wil be taking place at the GO Live studios in North York. Limited spaces available.
