Step back in time and slip into the jazz age with the Laramie Plains Museum and Front Street Tavern for our first ever speakeasy soiree, ages 21+. Our historic 1910 bar sets the cat's pajamas of a scene, complete with an authentic absinthe fountain pouring the once-forbidden green fairy, alongside a lineup of Prohibition-Era classics. The evening will feature a few swell talks steeped in history, covering everything from the days of Prohibition to the wide array of hooch and highballs that filled glasses across the roaring '20s. A few light bites will be on hand to keep you on your feet as you dance away to our live jazz band, featuring Phryne. So grab your glad rags and join us--It'll be the bee's knees.
