The Elite 30's Civic Engagement and Poli Sci 101
Introduction:
Hey there! Join us in person with The Elite 30 as we dive into a 6 week Civic Engagement and Poli Sci 101 training. This a will be an unforgetable event where you can learn the basics of politics and how to get involved in your community, meet prominate leaders, use your voice and your vote to empower your family community and life. Perfect for anyone looking to make a difference and meet like-minded folks. Don't miss out on this fun and informative gathering!
What do you need to know:
Absolutely nothing the subject at hand. Come as you are.
What to expect:
There will be highly intensed engagement (hands-on) and a project to complete on the last two days winner will receive a prize and a certificate of participation and completion. Each week August 6th -Sept 10th. If you miss two weeks of trainging, you must sign up for another class (September 24 - October 29th). You will not be eligble for certificate of participation and completion.
What do you need?
You will need the following a smart phone, laptop, tablet or ipad and a durable notebook, a digital footprint (in good standing)and a resume or a bio. We are looking for individuals who are not involved in their community but want to be involved or indiviuals who's been doing community service or volunteering for one year.
Who will be training you?
Dr. Charlotte Brown is currently a District Office Director and Instrutor. She earned Bachelor's degree in Political Sciene and Government and a Master's in the Arts of Teaching and Special Education (She passed the PA State PRAXIS with 150). She is the CEO and Founder of the Elite 30 Association and Coalition (www.theelite30ac.com). She also has a professional background in Policy Analystics, Legislative Assisting, Campaign Management, Political Consulting, Guideline and Effective Outreach Strategies
