This original play tackles the formation of one of the most prominent Irishman of all time. Our club namesake has many titles: rebel, prisoner, exile, writer, orator, poet … come watch as we delve deep into the formation of the man that was. His youth in Dowth, his Fenian activities, his deportation to prison camp, his daring escape and the girl he left behind.
The play will be presented in the White Rose Hall on Friday, October 23 at 7pm (doors open at 6). By popular demand, we will feature a matinee the next day Saturday, October 24 at 1 pm (doors open at noon). Come to both if you enjoy it!
Admission is free, as ever, but donations are warmly welcome. There will be hot food for sale before the show and at intermission. Chance and 50/50 raffles will be available. (winners drawn after Saturday’s show)
The Players Guild consists of your friends and fellow members. Come support their hard work.
