THE DUNG BEATLES will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the albums ‘HELP!’ and ‘RUBBER SOUL’, featuring a feast of gems from those two groundbreaking works, PLUS many other Beatles and post Beatles classics. The Dung Beatles are regarded as one of the best Beatles bands in the UK. Formed in Aylesbury in 2013 the band have created a big fan base, having played extensively in the UK but also in France.
Highlights include performing for Friars Aylesbury at the 1200 seat Waterside Theatre (three times), radio interviews and live broadcasts for the BBC (many times) and the final act at the Trinity Hall College Cambridge May Ball, performing to over one thousand students on the same bill as Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac!
The Dung Beatles have also played the Beatles spiritual home, the iconic Cavern in Liverpool, on two occasions. They prefer to be known as a Beatles Rock Band, rather than a tribute act; no wigs, costumes or backing tracks, just joyous live performances paying faithful homage to the original songs.
