The ‘Drops’: Negative and Positive Space is a collaborative exhibition by resident artists Fredrick Goldstein and Carolyn A. Land, exploring the dynamic relationship between sculpture and collage through the interplay of positive and negative space.
Inspired by a lifelong connection to nature, Carolyn’s mixed-media works celebrate the intricate patterns, textures, colors, and forms found in the natural world. For this exhibition, she incorporates metal “drops” created by sculptor Fred Goldstein, transforming these elemental forms into focal points within her layered collages.
