Now be prepared to be mesmerized by the captivating vocals and magnetic stage presence of two talented showmen, Lou Villano and Ron Gartner, who, with their band, embody the spirit and charisma that made Anka and Darin such icons.
Lou Villano has had a busy career as a singer, with songstress Julie Budd calling him “a fabulous singer” and a “major talent.” He has won several awards for his Paul Anka shows, especially Times of Your Life, a recreation of a Paul Anka show. Lou has appeared around the country and is a South Florida favorite.
Ron Gartner performs his homage to Bobby Darin in his show "Splish Splash—The Music of Bobby Darin" to sold out crowds around the country. Celebrating the music, life and times of the teen idol, singer/songwriter, movie star and nightclub performer, he sings finger-snapping Darin hits like “Mack the Knife,” “Splish Splash,” Dream Lover,” “Beyond the Sea,” and “Clementine" while talking about this legend who died too soon at 37!
His goal is to honor the legacy of “the swinging-est guy who ever put on a tux.” The Los Angeles Times called "Splish Splash" “an over-the-top evening to remember by one truly talented showman"!
