Who We Are

The Doula Lab is a collaborative space dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with care that is compassionate, informed, and grounded in trust. We believe everyone deserves respectful, affirming, and accessible support during one of the most transformative times of their lives.

What We Do

At The Doula Lab, we provide full-spectrum doula support, education, and resources that center birthing people and their families. Our work blends practical caregiving with advocacy, emotional support, and evidence-based information, ensuring families feel confident, prepared, and heard.

Our services may include:

  • Prenatal support and education to help families explore their options, build birth preferences, and prepare emotionally and physically
  • Continuous labor and birth support, offering reassurance, comfort measures, and informed guidance throughout the birthing process
  • Postpartum care, including emotional support, newborn guidance, and help navigating the early weeks after birth
  • Educational workshops and community offerings designed to empower families, birth workers, and communities with knowledge and skills
  • Equity-centered and culturally responsive care, with a commitment to reducing disparities and honoring lived experience

Our Approach

The Doula Lab operates at the intersection of care, education, and advocacy. We view doulas as both caregivers and knowledge-sharers, and we value collaboration with families, healthcare providers, and community partners. Our approach is nonjudgmental, client-led, and rooted in the belief that informed choice and continuous support lead to better experiences and outcomes.

Our Mission

Our mission is to strengthen families and communities by expanding access to high-quality doula care and education, fostering autonomy, and cultivating a culture of respect and support around birth and beyond.
