The Dolphins Are Still Singing: Can You Hear Them? The Epic of Lee, Me, and the Tree
Presented By: Jill Karlin
August 9, 2026 | 6:00 PM
Decades ago, a woman on a bicycle chained herself to a tree she could not save. In that moment of surrender, she met the man who would become her life’s great love: architect and visionary Lee Porter Butler. Together, they heard the trees speaking, the Dolphins singing — and heralded a new way of living in harmony with the Earth.
The Dolphins Are Still Singing is a solo performance — spoken word, original poetry, and a painting created live on stage — written and performed by Jill Karlin. A one-woman world. A love letter to Lee, to the Tree, to every living thing that refused to be silent.
World Premiere: August 9, 2026. Stonzek Studio Theater, Lake Worth Beach — three weeks before it travels to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The trees are still speaking. The dolphins are still singing. Can you hear them?
In the Stonzek Studio Theater – Limited Engagement Series
The show is approximately 60 minutes, with no intermission.
TICKETS: $28
