Join us at SITKA Vernon Hills for a Summer Bass Fishing Masterclass.
Learn from Logan McKenzie and Zach Schmieglitz as they cover seasonal patterns, vegetation, thermoclines, and bass techniques (old school and modern) for Northern IL & Southern WI.
Logan McKenzie – Tournament angler, director, and bass enthusiast. Logan spends 150+ days a year on northern IL and southern WI waters, directing the Fox Chain & Lake Geneva US Anglers Choice divisions. Winner of the 2022 Sturgeon Bay Bass Tournament, he blends decades of “old school” wisdom with cutting-edge strategies.
Zach Schmieglitz – Local tournament standout. With dozens of wins and division championships, alongside his dad Mike, Zach earned 2nd place at the 2023 US Angler’s Choice National Championship. One thing is for sure, if Zach has a frog or a punching rod in his hands, the fish better be scared! When tournament season dies down, Zach guides waterfowl in northern IL for Porter's Hunt Club.
This event is free and open to the public. Beverages will be provided, and each attendee receives a free raffle ticket for a chance to win our gear raffle at the end of the event.
