Join Jeremy "Sunny" Johnson-LeMieux at the Lighthouse Center in Whitmore Lake, MI for a discussion on spiritual ecstasy, soul exploration, and communion with the divine as we journey inward guided by the yogic teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda and the mystical Christian path of Saint Teresa of Avila’s Interior Castle. Through these sacred writings, meditation, spiritual dialogue and sacred silence, we will explore the soul’s chambers and awaken to our divine essence.
This retreat is designed for seekers from all traditions who long to deepen their inner life, integrate Eastern and Western spirituality, and taste the peace of direct communion with the Divine. Saint Teresa was a Spanish mystic of the 16th Century and deeply loved by Paramahansaji.

Sunny has a BFA from Wayne State University, is a kriyaban through the Self Realization Fellowship and a yoga teacher through the Golden Lotus Yoga Teachers Association. He spent a year on staff at Song of the Morning deepening his relationship with the Ranch and his Guru. He has been leading an official spiritual book study group and meditation services for over 6 years. Sunny is also an accomplished artist who has been published internationally and has art on every continent. Before becoming a Yogi he studied Peruvian shamanism with renowned teacher Don Oscar Miro Quesada which has helped him offer a more well-rounded, heart centered approach to yoga. These days Sunny teaches weekly Adult Ed Figure Drawing classes at the Northville Art House and gives lectures regularly on art and spiritual subjects at various venues around SE Michigan.
