Most mid-life crises involve motorcycles or toupees. Joe Sweeney’s is all about ukulele. At the tender age of 45, Joe started writing songs about his anxieties, performing them on his uke. Resulting in his own brand of bittersweet goofball pop that has been just weird enough to gain traction in his home state of Maine. His second LP, “Party of One,” drops 8/7. His midlife crisis is ongoing.
