Join us for our first dinner party at Descanso — a 9,000-square-foot contemporary Mexican restaurant on Miracle Mile that The Infatuation said "doesn't take much effort to have fun" at. An evening of bold Michoacán-inspired cuisine, a sponsored tequila cocktail, and the kind of connection that happens when strangers share a table in one of the most stunning dining rooms in LA.

The Experience
- Mix & Mingle Session — Meet the group over a complimentary tequila cocktail before we sit down
- Family-style dinner — 3 courses of Michoacán-inspired Mexican cuisine, served to share on the tables
- Seat rotations between courses so you're not stuck in one conversation all night
- Intimate group size — 10-20 guests to ensure an intimate setting to meet with the rest of the group
About the Venue
Descanso is a contemporary Mexican kitchen and bar on Miracle Mile from Rob Arellano, inspired by his childhood trips to Mexico with his father. The space is massive and gorgeous — 9,000 square feet, a circular bar anchoring the center of the room, a 20-foot bottle shelf, high ceilings, and a dining room that feels alive from the moment you walk in.
The Infatuation said it best: "it truly doesn't take much effort to have fun here." We can't wait to host our first dinner party in this room!

7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Mix and Mingle
- Come and meet with other Dinner Table guests, get to know who you'll be dining with!
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: 3 Course Family-Style Dinner
- Guests will be asked to switch seats between courses!
9:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Closing Announcements
- Closing remarks to conclude the evening.
- This is your chance to exchange contact information with those you've met!
Dinner Service
- Dinner service includes a 3-course dinner served family-style for each guest.
- We'll be able to accommodate all outlined dietary restrictions.
- There will be a complementary margarita offered to all guests upon check-in.
- Additional beverages can be purchased at the bar throughout the event.

First Course (served family style):
- Chips & Salsa
- Clasico Guacamole: Hass Avocado, Lime, White Onions, Serrano Chiles, Cilantro, Chile Con Limon Powder.
- Goat Cheese Tostadas: Mini Corn Tortilla Tostadas, Goat Cheese, Crumbled and Toasted Pecans with a Morita Chile Syrup
- Taquitos de Camaron: Taquitos with Marinated Mexican Shrimp, Blue Corn Tortillas, Mango-Habanero Salsa, Lettuce, Micro Cilantro and Morita Aioli
Second Course (served family style):
- Caesar Salad: Chopped Romaine Lettuce, Spicy Caesar Dressing*, Morita Chile Croutons, Pico de Gallo and Parmesano Reggiano.
- Elote Asado: Grilled Sweet White Corn, Chile Morita Aioli, Cotija Cheese, Micro Cilantro and Chile Con Limon Powder
- Pollo Alambre: Achiote Marinated Chicken, Tres Quesos, Bacon, Onions, Bell Peppers, Avocado Toreado Salsa, Micro Cilantro and Serrano Chiles. Served with Flour Tortillas
- Enchiladas de Asada: Three Carne Asada Enchiladas with Queso Frito, Queso Fresco, Cotija, Red Guajillo Sauce, Shredded Lettuce, Crema Mexicana, Radish, Micro Cilantro and Flour Tortillas.

- What is the general age range of your events? We encourage guests from all ages and backgrounds to attend our events. Our programming is tailored to anyone looking to meet others. Generally, we've seen the age range of our events to be between 25-40 years old. That's not to say anyone outside of that range can't attend!
- What's the difference between General Admission tickets and Men & Women tickets? Any ticket purchase gets the same experience, there is no difference. We've created gendered tickets to ensure a relatively even distribution of guests at our events. GA is open to anyone.
- Can I come alone? Yes, we encourage it! Our goal at The Dinner Table is to create meaningful connections through cuisine and art. Many of our guests leave with new friends at the end of the event.
- What is your refund policy? We understand sometimes things come up, and that's why we offer a full credit to your next event if you cancel ten days before the event
- Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies? Yes. Our team ensures the restaurant's menus are flexible to account for a wide array of dietary preferences.
