Smoke Show just celebrated its one-year anniversary by selling out Netflix Is A Joke. Now the show returns with a new theme and a new lineup.
Join Jodie Sweetin and competing comedians Lisa Chanoux, Ify Nwadiwe, and Josh Fadem for an evening of camp-themed comedy, mystery talents, and the kind of activities that would get most counselors fired.
Smoke Show is part comedy show, part pageant, and part completely unnecessary test of human endurance, where comedians compete in a series of themed challenges to determine who has what it takes to become the next Smoke Show Superstar. The winner is chosen by you, the audience.
This month’s theme celebrates summer camp, campiness, and the fine line between cherished memories and lifelong emotional damage. Expect badges, bragging rights, fierce competition, and enough cabin fever to keep everyone guessing.
At the end of the night, one contestant will be crowned and the others will leave with memories they’ll spend years trying to repress.
A portion of proceeds will benefit Children’s Lifesaving Foundation, a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) that helps provide camp experiences to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.
If you do nothing else this summer, at least you can say you went to camp with Jodie Sweetin.
Jodie Sweetin (Host) is an actor, comedian, and co-creator/host of Smoke Show, the live comedy pageant where comedians compete in themed chaos for the title of Smoke Show Superstar. Known for Full House and Fuller House, she is now firmly in her live comedy era, running shows that blend pageant, improv, and unhinged competition.
Lisa Chanoux is a Los Angeles based stand-up comedian, writer, and producer known for her sharp, deadpan humor and vibrant stage presence. She performs all over the country and co-produces Chatterbox Comedy Night, one of LA’s best indie showcases, based in glorious West Covina. In 2024, she was named a New York Comedy Festival “Comic to Watch”, and she has also been featured on Netflix Is A Joke Radio on SiriusXM.
Ify Nwadiwe is a Los Angeles based comedian, actor, writer, and professional nerd. He has appeared on NBC’s Grand Crew, Workaholics, and Comedy Bang! Bang!, and performs regularly with his improv team The Big Team at UCB. He brings high-energy, intelligent stand-up and sharp improvisational instincts, built for live chaos.
Josh Fadem is a Los Angeles based comedian and actor known for The Lowdown (FX), featuring former Smoke Show Superstar Michael Hitchcock, as well as Better Call Saul, 30 Rock, Twin Peaks: The Return, and Adventure Time. His stand-up is offbeat, character-driven, and surreal, delivered with a highly specific, unpredictable style.
