About this Event

Our immensely popular Dinner Detective true crime investigations are set in the present day. Unlike other M**der mystery dinner shows, here you will find no cheesy costumes, no recited campy dialogue and no hokey song and dance. Our performers are dressed just like everyone else, leaving all of the guests to suspect who is a part of the show and who is not. In many instances, guests are seated with the performers and don't even realize it until they die...the performers, that is! Our Detectives proceed to interrogate everyone and find clues as the mystery unfolds. At the end of the night, prizes are awarded to the Top Sleuth who solves the crime.

The Dinner Detective performs at the Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame. We offer an amazing M**der mystery show paired with a fantastic buffet style dinner which features Grilled Chicken Breast, Italian Sausage, Cavapatti Pasta with Alfredo and Marinana sauce. Lemonade, iced tea, and coffee (regular and decaf) are served upon request, and there is bar available as well in the performance space. An ATM is on-site for performer graduates to be given at the end of the experience.

Our events do not have a theme or time period, and our performers are not in costume. You can choose whether to participate in the show! Our guests are encouraged but not required to perform or participate. However, since our performers are hidden in the audience, guests may interact with and interrogate you on their own. The show takes place all around you, with performers are seated among the guests, possibly at your table. We also ensure each table gets to see every clue and witness every important scene, through digital QRs, clue boards, and other support means; so all guests have an equal chance to solve the mystery!

The Dinner Detective is an experience geared toward adults. We have a strict age limit of 15 years old, due to mild adult content, loud noises, and swearing; especially as it is interactive and highly improvised. Business casual or dressy casual wear is required for our events, unless otherwise specified in the event description! No logo/printed T-shirts, shorts, ballcaps, flip-flops, or torn clothes are permissible. Jeans are acceptable unless otherwise specified in the event description.
