The Designers Atelier
About this Event
Join Fineseat in the heart of Surry Hills, a vibrant hub of architecture and interior design, for an evening celebrating The Art of Designing.
Explore an exquisite range of commercial furniture and finishes through eight design stories: Breathe, Connect, Play, Dwell, Gather, Focus, Restore and Create. Each invites you to imagine how bespoke furniture, thoughtful materials and art can come together to give a space its own identity.
Joined by resident artists Gaia Starace and Catherine Whitting, we’ll experience a live art activation and explore the relationship between furniture and the artwork that surrounds it. Art is deeply subjective, yet its colours, textures and composition can respond beautifully to furniture — creating a conversation between the pieces and the people who experience them.
Speak directly with the creators of bespoke furniture and accompanying bespoke art. Discover the possibilities of developing these elements together, from the first spark of a concept through to a beautifully resolved space.
At the heartbeat of every designer is the desire to bring an idea to life with purpose, personality and panache.
Come together with fellow architects, interior designers and creative peers for an evening of conversation, connection and artistic discovery. Let your imagination roam as we explore palettes, materials and artworks that delight the eye and satisfy the soul.
An evening to connect, a space to create, and inspiration to take into your next project.
