The Definitive is an all Canadian rock band formed in Calgary, Alberta, in 2023. The group's unique blend of Evan Burns’ progressive slap bass lines, Dylan Jones’ classic rock-inspired guitar riffs, Vaughan Xavier’s in-your-face funky drum grooves and the sweet memorable vocal hooks of Duke Domino, has garnered them a reputation for exploring uncharted sonic territory.

Since forming in 2022, the band has cemented their reputation as an incredibly energetic and fresh live act, playing shows and festivals across Central and Western Canada, and sharing the stage with the likes of Our Lady Peace, Headstones, Default, and Trooper. With their second studio release, Horizon’s Edge, The Definitive continue to dive deeper into their sound, exploring new ideas and capitalizing on the magic of those first jam sessions.

Startunig the night is Hungry Hollow. Hungry Hollow is a high energy Alt-Pop-Rock Canadian band, known for their electrifying performances and heartfelt lyrics.They blend powerful guitar riffs with emotive vocals, reminiscent of 90’s jams within a contemporary vibe.

A long standing act in Edmonton’s music scene, Hungry Hollow has steadily built their fan base and reputation for their energetic live show. Their undeniable talent, paired with the palpable joy that exudes from the stage while they play, has made Hungry Hollow a desirable opening act for Canadian bands including Tallboy, The Humble Cartel, Firstgen, Age of Electric and Everclear while performing festivals in Alberta and British Columbia such as Alberta’s Own, Festival Kelowna, Springfest, Adamstock and Pembina Nights. They have been featured on radio shows including Band of the Month (Sonic 102.9) and played on CBC, The Bear and 102.3 Now Radio in Edmonton.
