About this Event

At the encouragement of her granddaughter Cassie, an aging Grandmother reflects on a pivotal time in her young life growing up in rural North Dakota in the late 1950s when freedom, love, and rock and roll were seemingly on every teenager's mind and so many changes were on the horizon. The deeper she explores the memories that haunt her, the more she and Cassie uncover about an unsettling few days surrounding a tragic loss and how those events may have shaped her and her family. But can her memory be trusted? And is there enough love and forgiveness left in her heart all these years later to let the music back in?
